Show/event rental FAQs
How early should I book my show or event?
The earlier the better! Once I confirm your costume needs, I will reserve them and update my pulling calendar accordingly.
I left getting costumes to the last minute. Can you help me?
Yes, I offer rush service for last minute customers. Depending on how late you contact me, there may be an additional fee.
Can I meet with you to see the costumes before they are pulled?
Yes, I offer both in-person costume and virtual costume meetings. This way you get to see the styles of costumes I will pull for you.
When can I get the costumes?
You can pick up your costumes early enough for parades, tech week, and dress rehearsals at no additional cost. You may be able to pick up earlier if they are available.
Where do I pick up the costumes? Where do I pick up the costumes?
Generally, costume rentals are picked up and returned from my home office. Local customers can pick up their costumes from 754 Lugers Road, Holland MI 49423
Do you ship costumes?
Yes. I am willing to ship costumes via UPS within the contingent US states if the customer pays for the shipping both directions.
Can we alter the costumes ourselves?
You may take in or let out seams or hems, but do NOT cut or permanently change the costumes without my prior approval.
When are the costumes due back?
The costumes are due back within one week following your show. After, that I charge a $50/day late fee. If this is a problem for you, just talk to me; if there are no other requests for the costume, I can usually be flexible.
Do I have to clean the costumes before returning them?
I usually take care of laundering costumes when they are returned. Your rental agreement will define who is responsible for post-show laundering and/or dry cleaning. A fee may be charged if returned costumes require cleaning or repairs.

Every show/event package is unique and may include a mix of costumes from different tiers. This tiered pricing applies to in-stock rental costumes. There may be additional cost for build-to-rent pieces. I will work with you to develop a custom quote based on your requirements.
Budget Costumes
Budget costumes may be in children's sizes, include fewer pieces, and/or be made from cheaper-quality materials.
- 1-15 costumes - $30 each ($30-$450)
- 16-30 costumes - $24 each ($384-$720)
- 31-50 costumes - $21 each ($651-$1,050)
- 51-80 costumes - $17 each ($867-$1,360)
Standard Costumes
Standard costumes are well constructed multi-piece ensembles made from general quality materials.
- 1-15 costumes - $50 each ($50-$750)
- 16-30 costumes - $40 each ($640-$1,200)
- 31-50 costumes - $35 each ($1,085-$1,750)
- 51-80 costumes - $30 each ($1,530-$2,400)
Premium Costumes
Premium costumes are made from high quality/expensive materials, include elaborate trim or detailing, and/or include jewelry, accessories, or props.
- 1-15 costumes - $75 each ($75-$1,125)
- 16-30 costumes - $65 each ($1,040-$1,950)
- 31-50 costumes - $55 each ($1,705-$2,750)
- 51-80 costumes - $45 each ($2,295-$3,600)
Other costs
- Refundable deposit (rental) - $50 or 20% of rental contract - paid up-front, refunded when the costumes are returned in good condition. Refund may be reduced to cover shipping estimate discrepancy, damage, loss, etc.
- Initial payment (custom build) - 50% of rental contract - due up-front to reserve costumes and cover the costs of initial supplies, labor, and administration. Non-refundable.
- Changes - for changes from the original requirements, I will provide a quote for additional charges to cover the additional labor and supplies.
- Final payment - remaining balance of rental contract plus shipping and handling if applicable - due when the costume is picked up or shipped.
- Return shipment - if applicable

- Tops: +4–6" ease for comfortable movement
- Pants: +2–4" ease at waist depending on style (drawstring vs. fitted)

Fit adjustments
If your show/event rental costume doesn't fit quite right, you may take in or let out hems or seams to temporarily adjust the size, but do NOT make any changes that cannot be undone (i.e., cutting). In most cases, safety pins are your best friend!
