"Design to rent" program

Because I am building my inventory of high-quality theatre costumes and am always looking for new sources of inspiration for my designs, I am sometimes willing to offer a "design-to-rent" contract.

This means that I will design and build a custom-fit costume for one or more individuals in time for an event/show. They will rent the costume(s) from me, then I will keep the costume(s) in my inventory for future rentals.

My standard rate is $40/hour to design, construct, fit and/or make alterations to individual costumes. Minimum order: $20. Custom rates are available for larger contracts, which may include a combination of rental and design/build services. • Individual rentals - I will use supplies I have on hand if possible but will add a charge if I need to purchase additional materials/supplies.
• Show/event rentals - This offer may be applied to one or more of the costumes included in a costume rental/design contract.  Additional fees may include a minimum payment for my time and a charge for any purchased materials/supplies.

My willingness to make a "design-to-rent" offer depends on my bandwidth and estimation of the future rentability for each costume piece. If you think you have a project that would qualify ... let's talk!
